The team of professionals at Hidden Treasures is devoted to working to encourage your child to reach his/her full potential. Helping children improve their social skills, academic performance, and daily communication isn’t a mere clinical task; we engage with and recognize the strengths and idiosyncrasies of each child we encounter, ensuring that while we model and teach important life skills, each child’s individuality is honored and respected. Each of our BCBAs practice Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a highly respected and time-tested form of intervention directed towards encouraging more consistent and appropriate behavior.
Our Process
The first step towards creating the most effective behavioral program for your child is to complete a Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA). An FBA is a process that identifies specific target behavior, the purpose of the behavior, and what environmental factors maintain the behavior that is interfering with your child’s progress. The results of the assessment allow us to design an effective intervention plan to help your child reach their maximum potential. This process is generally conducted over several weeks.

Home-Based and School-Based Services
Depending on your child’s individual needs, our program offers home-based and school-based treatment plans. These treatment plans are designed to allow the child become as fully integrated as possible in their home, school, and community.
Parent/Caregiver Training
An important part of ABA therapy is parent/caregiver training. This training guarantees that the progress made is generalized throughout the child’s environment. Weekly sessions are offered where parents/caregivers have the opportunity to learn effective strategies for working with their child.
At Hidden Treasures, we understand how crucial it is to give parents and caregivers the tools and training they need to support the program that our BCBAs have designed. Our team works in tandem with parents to achieve the best possible results for their child; this collaborative approach is essential to the ABA therapy model.
Direct 1:1 Therapy
Our BT’s and BCBA’s provide direct 1:1 ABA services to children in their homes, at our facility, in their school, or in community settings. This type of therapy benefits individuals with autism by giving them the individualized attention needed to address behaviors and support development.
Community-Based Interventions
We also provide our services within the local community. If your child struggles with unwanted behavior or challenges in a community-based environment (library, church, public park, etc.), our BCBAs can design a program specific to his/her needs within this environment.
Staff Training
We believe that providing our staff with the right tools, resources, and training is crucial to the success of our clients. At Hidden Treasures, staff training and evaluations are a major component of our organization’s model. We ensure that all of our staff are up-to-date on the newest and most relevant research in our field and capitalize on opportunities for ongoing education.
