Home-Based and School-Based Services
Depending on your child’s individual needs, our program offers home-based and school-based treatment plans. These treatment plans are designed to allow the child become as fully integrated as possible in their home, school, and community.
Community-Based Interventions
We also provide our services within the local community. If your child struggles with unwanted behavior or challenges in a community-based environment (library, church, public park, etc.), our BCBAs can design a program specific to his/her needs within this environment.
Parent/Caregiver Training
An important part of ABA therapy is parent/caregiver training. This training guarantees that the progress made is generalized throughout the child’s environment. Weekly sessions are offered where parents/caregivers have the opportunity to learn effective strategies for working with their child.
At Hidden Treasures, we understand how crucial it is to give parents and caregivers the tools and training they need to support the program that our BCBAs have designed. Our team works in tandem with parents to achieve the best possible results for their child; this collaborative approach is essential to the ABA therapy model.
Direct 1:1 Therapy
Our BT’s and BCBA’s provide direct 1:1 ABA services to children in their homes, at our facility, in their school, or in community settings. This type of therapy benefits individuals with autism by giving them the individualized attention needed to address behaviors and support development.
Staff Training
We believe that providing our staff with the right tools, resources, and training is crucial to the success of our clients. At Hidden Treasures, staff training and evaluations are a major component of our organization’s model. We ensure that all of our staff are up-to-date on the newest and most relevant research in our field and capitalize on opportunities for ongoing education.

Medical insurance plans cover ABA. Our team is here to help during the approval process. Our administrative staff can assist you with the insurance process

Once you have applied for our services, a request is submitted to the insurance company for authorization for the initial intake assessment to be conducted by a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
The initial assessment is then submitted to the insurance company for approval to begin services from our agency.
Generally, an evaluation should be completed, and services can begin within several weeks after applying. Services may continue until a child achieves his/her short-term and long-term goals. Most insurance companies (including Medi-cal) cover our services. We reassess your child every six months as part of the requirements for demonstrating that medical necessities are still being met.

We work with children aged 1-18 years old, and have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD or other developmental delays. And we work with your child, you and your family, school staff and caregivers.

Once we’ve allocated your child a therapist, we’ll make contact with some forms you need to complete before we can begin our assessment.
Our initial assessment consists of one or two visits across a variety of settings where we assess your child in a variety of settings to get a full picture of their needs and goals - so our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) can design individually tailored treatment programs to help in the areas of language and communication and social skills. -
After your initial assessment, your BCBA will collaborate with our trained behavior technicians, who will implement your child’s treatment plan. The treatment interventions may take place at home, at school, or in any of a variety of community settings. Therapy sessions can be scheduled on weekdays and/or weekends.

This depends very much on your child’s initial assessment and intervention plan. We work with some children every day and some 2-3 times a week.

Yes, we do. An extremely important part of our program is giving parents the opportunity to learn new skills and strategies to help their children. At Hidden Treasures, our therapists devote time to both child and parent to ensure that every child with ASD is given all the tools needed to succeed.
Parents/caregivers are encouraged to observe the sessions between the child and therapist. By participating in the therapy sessions, parents can watch the methods that our highly talented specialists use with their children. This is important for parents who will be incorporating those activities and methods at home.
We also run dedicated parent training sessions to reinforce what’s been observed during therapy sessions. Our team will talk to you about these sessions. Learn more about parent training sessions here
