WHAT IS HIDDEN TREASURES ABA THERAPY SERVICES?
Hidden Treasures ABA Therapy Services is an agency that provides quality ABA therapy to children with an Autism Spectrum Diagnosis. Our services include direct client interventions, family, school staff and caregiver training. Our programs are both home-based and school-based.
Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) assess your child and design individually tailored treatment programs to help in the areas of language and communication and social skills. Working together with our trained behavior technicians, the treatment interventions may take place at home, at school, or at any of a variety of community settings. Therapy sessions can be scheduled during the weekdays and/or on weekends.

Hidden Treasures ABA Therapy is comprised of a group of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and trained behavioral technicians. Our services are available to individuals with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Our staff will schedule our visits during the weekday, on weekends, an on legal holidays.
WHERE ARE THESE SERVICES PROVIDED?
Our services are geared to each child’s particular needs and goals. ABA therapy will be scheduled to take place at home, at school, in the family’s place of worship, or anywhere in the community such as the park, library, summer camp, grocery store, or restaurants; depending on the individual needs of the child. Our primary goal is to help each child develop and function in the most appropriate manner possible.
HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK? WHAT IS THE PROCESS? HOW MUCH WILL THIS COST US?
Once you have applied for our services, and upon receipt of a physician’s prescription for ABA services, a request is submitted to the insurance company for authorization for the initial intake assessment to be conducted by a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA). The initial assessment is then submitted to the insurance company for approval to begin services from our agency. Generally, within several weeks after applying, an evaluation should be completed and services can begin. Services may continue until a child achieves his/her short term and long term goals. Most insurance companies (including Medi-cal) cover our services provided that requirements for medical necessity are met.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE SKILLS WE WILL BE WORKING ON? CAN PARENTS MAKE SUGGESTIONS ON SOME OF THE GOALS TO WORK ON?
Goals that we work on are based on observation, assessment, and parent and school staff interviews. They are carefully individualized for each child. The goal of ABA therapy is to build socially appropriate functional skills and may target:
- Social skills
- Functional communication
- Transitions
- Reduction of repetitive or stereotypic behaviors
